There are plenty of things to do in the Princeton area, but none of them are as intense, fun, and exciting as Tac Ops. We have brought our new brand of laser tag to the area to give our guests a birthday party they will never forget! Laser tag has been around for decades, but it has never been like this before. What is Included in a Laser Tag Birthday Party at Tac Ops in Princeton? 

Our birthday parties are pretty structured. They start with a brief introductory, instructional video that begins your journey into the world of Tac Ops. Players are briefed in the do’s and dont’s of our play style and our arena, as well as given guidance on how to operate our equipment.    

After that, the players are brought into our immersive arena to begin play. They will play 5 different missions broken into 6 different games, and they will be briefed before every round by our instructional video and the coach that is there with them. Once the games are done, players will be ushered into our HUGE party room to meet with any guests that opted not to play where the party festivities will begin.  

Our party room has a massive mural of a cityscape for you to enjoy, as well as comfortable couches, two TVs to watch the current game, and a scoreboard to view the competition. The party room has all of the supplies you’ll need for your party.  There is a refrigerator and freezer for your cake and drinks. We have all utensils, napkins, plates, cups, etc.  The only thing you’ll need to worry about is providing food and drinks. We will give you the name of a local pizzeria that we recommend, but you are welcome to bring in whatever you’d like. The only other thing you may need is a knife if you are bringing an ice cream cake.  We use plastic cake cutters, and while they are great for regular cakes, they don’t always make it through ice cream cakes.

How Much Does it Cost to Have Your Birthday Party at Tac Ops?

Our pricing at Tac Ops during our regularly scheduled hours is broken into two pricing categories: weekday and weekend.  All of our time slots at Tac Ops are public until someone books them private; at that time, we take a deposit of $400 on Tuesday-Thursday and $500 Friday-Sunday. The deposit covers the first 10 players; additional players are $30 each, but we only charge you for who shows up the day of the party, so you aren’t charged for guests that have last-minute conflicts. Our maximum number of players is 30.

Who Can Celebrate Their Birthday At Tac Ops? 

Anyone who is over the age of 8 years old is permitted to play at Tac Ops. Since most kids who are turning 8 still have friends and kids in their class that are 7 years old, it may not be ideal for them, so be sure to check the ages of the guests you are inviting. Tac Ops isn’t limited to children, it was initially designed as a laser tag facility for adults that we later tailored to children as well to make it suitable for anyone ages 8 and up.
